Boy, does Louis De Rougemont have a story to tell. The hero of this Donald Marguiles play becomes the toast of England, detailing his many adventures — escaping a ship being destroyed by a giant sea monster, riding bareback on a giant tortoise, living among the natives of an uncharted island. Is it all true? That isn’t quite the point in this play about the lengths people will go to secure their legacies.

7:30 p.m. March 3 to 13 at the Marian Center, Milwaukee. $15.
