March For Our Lives has announced 50 Miles More, a follow-up event to the nationwide protests set for March 24 that will call for sensible gun reform.
On March 25, March For Our Lives is calling for students from all over the state to meet up in Madison for a march down to Janesville.
50 Miles More takes inspiration from the 54-mile Selma to Montgomery march for civil rights, the 50-mile march to Paul Ryan’s (R-Wis) hometown will take four days and is directed at Ryan’s role in blocking and burying any change of gun reform.
In preparation for the march, busses will help bring students from around Wisconsin to Madison after the March 24 protests end.
For those who cannot participate in the entire march but would still like to get involved, March For Our Lives invites everyone, of all ages, to join in on the final day of the march on March 28 at noon at Traxler Park in Janesville.
