PULL-A-THON CHAMPS: Congratulate River Revitalization Foundation, the back-to-back champions of the annual Garlic Mustard Pull-A-Thon in southeastern Wisconsin. RRF won a traveling trophy for pulling the most invasive garlic mustard plants in the contest coordinated by the Southeastern Wisconsin Invasive Species Consortium. PROTEST TRUMP, PLANT A TREE: The environmental nonprofit Treepex has created Treespond, an online forum where protesters can respond to Donald Trump’s tweets denying climate change by donating to plant trees. DRIVING FORWARD: Clean car standards would save people money at the pump, reduce dangerous climate emissions and keep 12 billion barrels of oil in the ground.
