Gawker: congressman trolled Craigslist for transgenders

The married GOP congressman who resigned earlier this month just three hours after being busted trolling for women on Craigslist also used the site to look for transgender women and cross-dressers, according to Gawker.com.

The site claims that two transgender women have come forward claiming they were contacted on Craigslist by former Rep. Christopher Lee, who had an anti-gay voting record during his tenure representing an upstate New York district.

The two transgender women, identified as Fiona and Holly, told Gawker they came across posts from Lee in January looking for “a sexy ts/cd that i can spoil. I promise not to disappoint.”

Lee described himself as “New to area. Very fit classy, successful guy. 39, 6ft 190lbs, blond/blue. smooth hard body.”

Lee is 46 years old, married and has a child.

Lee wrote to Fiona that he dated a transgender woman while at business school at Chapman University, Gawker reported. She told him on Jan. 21 that she figured out who he was by looking up his e-mail address on Facebook, and he did not answer back.

That’s around the time he reportedly told his congressional staff that his e-mail account had been hacked.
