UPAF Ride for the Arts hits the streets of Milwaukee June 4
The Ride starts and finishes at the south gate of the Summerfest Grounds, at the intersection Summerfest Place (formerly Polk St.) and Harbor Drive.
The 36h Annual UPAF Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, takes place this Sunday, June 4.
The Ride starts and finishes at the south gate of the Summerfest Grounds, at the intersection Summerfest Place (formerly Polk St.) and Harbor Drive. The routes travel past several Milwaukee landmarks and continue along the shores of Lake Michigan through numerous Milwaukee-area communities and parks.
Start times are:
- 70-mile route — 7 a.m.
- 45-mile route — 7:15 a.m.
- 25-mile route — 7:45 a.m.
- 12-mile family route — 8:30 a.m.
- 5-mile youth route (with a costume contest) — 9 a.m.
Skylight Music Theatre and First Stage — both UPAF Member Groups — will perform at the starting lines.
After the Ride, participants and their guests are invited to the Finish Line Party on the Summerfest Grounds, which is free and open to the public. The party will feature free hot dogs from Usinger’s, beer sampling by MillerCoors for those 21 and over, costumed performers, Kohl's Color Wheels, and more.
