GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum said he’d die to prevent same-sex couples from getting married.

“I’ll die on that hill,” GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum said when asked about his pledge to fight for a federal ban on same-sex marriage.

He said that he felt equally strongly about repealing all federal funding for contraception, calling it “a license to do things in a sexual realm.”

“Sex is supposed to be within marriage” and “special,” Santorum said.

Santorum made the comments in an interview with CaffeinatedThoughts.com editor Shane Vander Hart.

Santorum is also lashing out against frontrunner Herman Cain for not opposing gay equality forcefully enough. He criticized Cain for saying that he’d leave the question of same-sex marriage to the states. Santorum said marriage equality is equal to slavery in terms of its immorality.

“Leaders should be out there advocating for what is in the best interest of our society and what’s in the best interest of mothers and fathers and children and I’m going to do that,” Santorum said in an interview with Radio Iowa. “I have done it and I have done it here in Iowa and I don’t know of anybody else in this campaign, including Herman Cain, who has made that kind of blanket commitment to the institution of marriage and the stability of the family.”

Quoting Howie Feltersnatch:
Your offer is acceptable. You may now go and die in what manner seems best to you.

He didn't say how soon! The anticipation is unbearable!

Is that a promise, Rick? IS IT? It won't work even if you do, but don't let that stop you, go right ahead pal, everyone's behind you. (Pun intended!)

"I have done it here in Iowa."

Freudian slip, Rick? I know you've got a thing for buxom ladies of Germanic-Scandinavian descent (and possibly for their hirsute, Hawkeye-crazed male counterparts, too), but Iowans aren't down with you, Rick. We've already spoken. We're generally a tolerant bunch. The University of Iowa was the first public university in the US to admit men and women on an equal basis. The majority of us want equality for gay people, too.

So way to overestimate support for your retrogressive social agenda in this small flyover state, Rick. Way to stereotype. You've blown your cover. You're probably going to need some more props to bolster up that phony populist throne you've perched yourself on. Unless, you know, it isn't sucked up your enormous arsehole first.

He promises to die? What a wonderful, selfless act. In one stroke he would raise the average IQ and ethical standards of the human race. Did he also give a date when we could expect this wonderful gift to the world?

In other news, a frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex has controversial political views.

JL - Dan Savage has spent years destroying him, since this jackass was a Pennsylvania senator. Have you heard about his Google problem? That's classic Dan.

LOL - Looks like somebody's got a gay scandal in their future! I remember mega-church pastor, the good conservative christian Rev. Ted Haggard, said pretty much the same thing, right before he got caught with a man and a meth pipe in his mouth! LOL - The Christ Whisperers are adorable with their tiny penises and huge egos!

With all of the critical issues this country needs to address, he's still obsessing over other people's sex lives??? Homeless rates are up, people are going to freeze in the streets this winter, children go to school hungry, millions of people are unemployed, corporations are posting profits and still cutting jobs. Can a politician BE more out of touch with America than Santorum???

Well, if he's so willing to die, he can choke to death on my dick!
