UPAF Ride for the Arts - 1

On June 3, the 37th Annual UPAF Ride for the Arts will take cyclists on a 70-mile route that starts and ends at the Summerfest Grounds.

Ride for the Arts — sponsored by Miller Lite — will raise money for UPAF Member Groups, a diverse lineup of local arts groups. Johnson Financial Group — the 2018 UPAF Ride for the Arts Pledge Match Sponsor — will match pledges raised for the Ride for the Arts up to $25,000.

Riders can choose from five ride distances — 5, 12, 25, 45 and 70-mile bike routes. The 70, 45 and 25-mile routes will ride over the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge. Ride start times vary depending on the route. The 70-mile route will begin at 7:15 a.m., the 25-mile route will begin at 7:45 a.m., the 12-mile family route will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the 5-mile youth route will begin at 9 a.m.

Children ages 12 and under will ride any route free thanks to the Milwaukee Brewers Community Foundation.

After the ride, participants and guests are invited to the Finish Line Party on the Summerfest Grounds featuring free hot dogs from Usinger’s, beer sampling by MillerCoors, costumed performers from UPAF Member Groups Skylight Music Theatre and First Stage, a dedicated Kids Zone and more. The party begins at 9 a.m. and is free and open to the public.
