Saint John's

Saint John’s On the Lake will be hosting their 2nd Annual Spirituality and Aging Symposium on March 4–8. The event is titled The Measure of Our days: Awakening Hope in Aging, Loss and Death and will focus on altering understanding of and mindsets about growing old and the end of life.

Over the course of four days, Saint John’s will be hosting seminars, performances and spiritual practices focused on the spiritual and physical effects that growing old or losing loved ones can carry.

The event is meant to help provide a better understanding of what the end of life means and how one can better live out the rest of their life with an enlightened sense of what awaits beyond death.

Additionally, a post-conference will be held on March 9 and 10 with an emphasis on African American and LGBTQ+ communities, exploring the diverse ways that these communities experience and deal with death based on factors like violence and inadequate health care.

The event will take place at Saint John’s On the Lake located at 1840 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee, WI. Click here for a full schedule of the conference.
