A limited-edition polo collection by French clothing company Lacoste will feature a variety of endangered species as their logo in place of their usual crocodile logo. Purchasing these polos will help fund the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Save Our Species program.

Lacoste’s lineup of limited-edition polos will feature ten different endangered species in place of the iconic Rene Lacoste-inspired crocodile logo. This marks the first time that Lacoste has ever used a logo other than the crocodile. The quantity of each polo produced will correspond with the remaining population size of each endangered species.

The Vaquita, the world’s most rare marine mammal, will only have 30 polos produced with a logo in its image. The Anegada Ground Iguana will be placed on 450 shirts and will be the most prolific of the polos. The numbers for each species are shockingly and unfortunately low.

Purchasing any of the limited-edition polos will help fund IUCN’s Save Our Species program. SOS aims to ensure the long-term survival of threatened species, their habitats and the people who depend on them. SOS achieves its mission by ensuring the best conservation projects receive funding, opening up communication about conservation projects and connecting conservation-minded people.
