On March 16, Mathew Ball, more commonly known on the internet as The Boogie Woogie Kid, will be performing at the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum.

Ball performs a lively blend of boogie-n-blues, jazz and ragtime favorites from the 20s, 30s and 40s and is known as the “fastest fingers in the Midwest.” The attorney-turned-musician left his previous career after attending a hometown boogie-woogie festival that inspired him to become a performing artist. Since then, he has been touring nationally, appearing on television and presenting at schools.

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum located at 2220 N. Terrace Ave. A cash bar will be providing drinks. Tickets are $15 for general admission or $12 for members, students seniors. Tickets can be purchased at https://boogiewoogievilla.brownpapertickets.com/.
