Milwaukee Rep

Milwaukee Repertory Theater is in search of several young performers for its final show of the 2017-18 season, Our Town. Milwaukee Rep will hold auditions for young performers between the ages of 8–17 to help bring the town of Grover’s Corner to life in the play by Thornton Wilder.

Parents who would like their children to audition should send submissions to the Rep by Jan. 2, 2018. The submission should include the young performer’s name, a recent photo, height and weight, a parent/guardian’s phone number and email address, and a brief note from the young performer telling the theater about who they are and why they would like to be in Our Town.

Auditions will be held on Jan. 6. Those chosen from submitted materials will be notified of an audition time and receive materials to prepare for the audition. Callbacks will be held later in the day. No one will be seen without an appointment.

Our Town rehearses Tuesday through Sunday from March 13 to April 8, and performs from April 10 to May 13 at the Quadracci Powerhouse. Please note that young performers will need to miss school for technical rehearsals and matinee performances. All young performers must be accompanied at the audition by a parent or legal guardian.
