Yesterday was Dollarama’s biggest meeting of the year. And yet, its CEO, whose family is worth 2.5 billion dollars, still hasn’t answered the question: why won’t Dollarama increase hazard pay for workers to 2 dollars an hour?

So we’re sending a message to Dollarama this weekend to take care of ALL of its employees.

We recognize this is a time to support BIPOC communities in Canada against police brutality and racism and the two full time staff in Canada are planning a full response. In the spirit of supporting the work done by PoC-led Dollarama workers unions, we are continuing to back this campaign to push Dollarama for 2 dollar hazard pay for workers who are disproportionately represented by PoCs.
