Ingrid Newkirk’s book “Animalkind” is brilliant and beautiful and filled with compassion. Which is just what our world needs today. It is also very enlightening because many people are unaware of the treatment of animals and of how special each animal is in their own right. It raises awareness of how important each animal’s life is to them. And how each animal should be treated with respect and allowed to have a peaceful and full life. Thank you Ms. Newkirk!
Thank you for posting this! In a world full of coronavirus, this was a lovely break. I saw the video about the horse saving the mare during the fires, but hadn't heard a lot of the other stories she shared. I want to read the others and will get the book.
