CONVERGING FOR CONFLUENCE Last year, the Milwaukee Water Commons hosted its first Confluence Gathering, with the goal of making Milwaukee a “model water city” with a clear Water City Agenda. RIGHTS AND RESISTANCE The ACLU of Wisconsin marks “a year of resistance” during its 2017 Bill of Rights Celebration Nov. 8 at the Italian Conference Center, 631 E. Chicago St., Milwaukee. The ACLU plans to honor Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin during the gala, as well as the youth plaintiffs from Lincoln Hills School for Boys and Copper Lake School for Girls.
