Cage the Elephant

Alt-rockers Cage the Elephant have been bubbling under the mainstream, briefly surfacing when a single cracks radio charts. The year 2008 had “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked.” The year 2011 had “Shake Me Down.” And this year has “Mess Around,” the Black Keysian (thanks to producer Dan Auerbach) single from new album Tell Me I’m Pretty. Hidden deeper beneath the proverbial waves is a diverse, eclectic body of work, sure to be on display at this gig, moved from the BMO Harris Pavilion on the lakefront. Opening is Portugal. The Man, an equally underrated if substantially more psychedelic band.
