George Winston — Dec. 21

George Winston is best known for his solo piano recordings, with several of his albums from the early ‘80s having sold millions of copies each. He began playing organ in 1967 after hearing The Doors, but in 1971 he switched to solo piano. In 1996, he released Linus and Lucy – The Music of Vince Guaraldi, primarily devoted to the theme music Guaraldi wrote for the Peanuts cartoons. Winston is presently concentrating mainly on live performances.
