Madison Symphony Orchestra presents ‘Scheherazade’ — Jan. 14 and 15

The Madison Symphony Orchestra starts 2017 off with two performances of Scheherazade, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s musical treatment of the One Thousand and One Nights tales from Arabian folklore. The production takes place at 8 p.m. on Jan. 14 and 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 15 at Overture Center for the Arts, 201 State St., in Madison. Tickets are $15–$60. 608-258-4141 or madisonsymphony.org
