AtwoodFest 2016

AtwoodFest 2016

Madison’s free AtwoodFest features three stages showcasing a host of local and regional music, in addition to national acts Buffalo Killers and Jane Lee Hooker. The new Makers Market teaches children to code their own games, as well as craft cardboard spaceships and steampunk robots. The festival also offers kid-friendly entertainment such as magic, dancing, carnival games, art projects, hula-hoops, rock climbing, an obstacle course and more. The Top 25 Eastside Eats raffle supports local food pantries and awards a grand prize of dinner for two at 25 eastside restaurants. AtwoodFest begins with a parade called “Convergence,” starting from the four corners of Schenk Atwood neighborhood and ending at the KidsFest stage.

12 noon on July 30 and 31 at the 2000 block of Atwood Avenue in Madison; FREE; atwoodfest.org
