‘The Quest’
Quest narratives always draw on the same character archetypes: the princess, the knight, the dragon. With the help of Chant Claire Chamber Choir and Milwaukee playwright/composer/funnyman Jason Powell, Danceworks is going to shake up that narrative. This “unique blend of the Real and the Magickal” will feature an equally blended score, a mix of canonical repertoire and newly penned ballads that fit into the overall tapestry.
