The podcast Welcome To Night Vale and the fictional town that it describes are both strange forces. The twice-monthly podcast transmits community updates from the small desert town of Night Vale, with reports on the local weather and news mixed with announcements from the Sheriff’s Secret Police about mysterious lights in the night sky, dark hooded figures with powers, and other strange happenings. It’s as mesmerizing as it is amusingly creepy. Host Cecil Baldwin and musical guests Danny Schmidt and Carrie Elkin will bring the podcast to the stage for a live show.
