On 4-14, residents of the 414 area code will be celebrating Milwaukee. There’s no wrong way to practice Milwaukee Day, but the official party is at Turner Hall. Performers include impressive local headliners such as Jaill, Def Harmonic, Lex Allen, Midnight Reruns and Space Raft, as well as Escuela Verde’s teenage Skai Academy band, with arts and crafts upstairs before the music starts. All proceeds will benefit Escuela Verde, a charter school operated by TransCenter for Youth for students interested in sustainability, student-led learning and restorative justice.
