PrideFest seeks to raise $25,000 by June 8
PrideFest Milwaukee has revived the Proud Crowd loyalty program to raise at least $25,000 by June 8, the first day of the annual LGBT Pride celebration.
The Proud Crowd program, which originally ran from 2004 to 2009, invites members at one of six levels, ranging from $25 to $2,500.
Each level includes PrideFest benefits – free admission tickets, VIP level access, online recognition and onstage applause at the opening ceremony.
Memberships are open to people, businesses and groups, with the money going to the 2012 event.
“Over the past 25 years, PrideFest has inspired tremendous passion and loyalty in the hearts of our guests. Our city, our LGBT community and our culture has come such a long, long way together since 1987,” said PrideFest president Scott Gunkel. “Proud Crowd is a personal opportunity to be part of not only our landmark celebration, but our enduring legacy to Milwaukee.”
