Barney Frank upstaged by his nipples during House speech

Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., was upstaged by his nipples today as he delivered an address from the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Wearing a tight, sky-blue, crew-neck shirt, Frank appeared unaware that the outlines of his chest and nipples were very visible as he spoke about bank failures. The protruding appearance of his nipples raised questions about the temperature in the chamber.

Numerous Internet postings have jabbed the openly gay congressman for his “massive man boobs” and “perky nipples.”

“As long as you live, you’ll never unsee this,” posted sayanythingblog.com along with a link to a video of Frank’s address.

Frank was wearing a jacket that could have prevented the wardrobe malfunction. But the jacket was draped over his shoulders, probably because he’s sporting a large cast on his left hand. Frank recently had surgery on ligaments in his thumb.

Frank announced recently that he would not seek re-election next year. First elected in 1980, Frank was one of the first politicians to come out openly as gay.
