We are expecting snow tomorrow, but I hope that doesn’t stop you from getting out to the polls. We’ve got a couple big statewide elections on the ballot that I hope you’ll support:

Judge Rebecca Dallet for Supreme Court:

Special interest groups, including the Republican Party of Wisconsin have dropped about $1 million into this race to keep their majority of conservative Justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Judge Rebecca Dallet has spent 23 years working in our Wisconsin courtrooms, fighting to deliver justice in our state. She has more experience than her opponent.

Judge Dallet has presided over 10,000 cases and more than 230 jury trials, including felony and misdemeanor domestic violence, child abuse and neglect cases; homicide and sensitive crimes; family court; gun and drug court; and civil court.

I have endorsed Judge Dallet for Wisconsin Supreme Court and I hope you vote for her on Tuesday.

Vote No on the Constitutional Amendment:

Constitutional amendments should be reserved for protecting and expanding people’s rights, not to eliminate the office of the State Treasurer so that Governor Scott Walker and his right-wing legislative followers can control one more thing in Wisconsin.

Ever since Governor Walker got into office, it’s been power grab after power grab. Tomorrow is an opportunity to say enough is enough.
Please join me, former Republican State Treasurer Jack Voight and editorial boards of newspapers from all over the state in rejecting this constitutional amendment to eliminate the office of the State Treasurer.

Paid for by Mark Pocan for Congress, Sondy Pope, Treasurer.
