HAWS celebrates Dog Days of Summer with Pet Fair, clothing and textile drive
Summer might be coming to an end, but Humane Animal Welfare Society still has plenty of upcoming events.
On Aug. 18, the 11th Annual Pet Fair will take place in Menomonee Falls. The fair is a free, family-and-pet-friendly event that features local vendors selling pet products and services, microchipping, games, raffles, food and beverages and meet-and-greets with adoptable pets from HAWS and its rescue partners. Attendees can bring an item from the HAWS’ Wish List to receive a free 5x7 digital image of your pet from Nancy G. Photography. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rotary Park, Fond du Lac Ave. at Lilly Rd.
On Aug. 25, the Friends of HAWS annual Clothing & Textile Drive will collect clothing, linens, footwear, accessories and more. The event comes as a partnership with St. Vincent de Paul. The drive will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
