I wanted to let you know about the impact of the Wisconsin Gazette article on our LGBT Collection at UWM Libraries. One of your readers was inspired to help meet the $5,000 challenge grant offered by Joe Pabst and sent in a $500 check!
Next I shared the article at the friends board meeting last week and they also voted to support the effort with a $500 check! This is so great.
My goal is to meet the challenge with 10 leadership gifts of $500 each. With a few other gifts that have come in the total is now $1,700.
