The telephone used by Adolf Hitler to issue most of his commands during the last two years of WWII fetched $243,000 in a recent auction. Recovered from the Fuhrerbunker in 1945, it’s been stowed away in an English country house ever since. The identity of the new owner was not revealed, but we’re wondering if it will become part of the White House tour.

Two Republican lawmakers scrapped a bill to end daylight saving time in Wisconsin amid a backlash on social media.
Reps. Samantha Kerkman and Michael Schraa introduced a bill last week that would have eliminated daylight saving time in Wisconsin. The change would mean the summer sun would set an hour earlier.

Donald Trump’s visits to his South Florida estate since he was elected president have cost the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department $1.5 million in overtime costs.
The county sent letters to federal officials in December seeking reimbursement for the overtime security costs from Trump’s five-day visit to the estate called Mar-a-lago in November, the Palm Beach Post reported Tuesday.
