A 23-year-old lesbian says she was subjected to verbal and physical sexual humiliation during the time she worked for a Brooklyn real estate firm.
In a lawsuit filed by Priscilla Agosto against People’s Choice Reality, she said seven male employees made lewd advances – even after she complained to her bosses.
The suit alleges that male co-workers exposed themselves, rubbed up against her, asked for oral sex and offered $500 to watch her have sex with her girlfriend.
Agosto’s lawyer said another former employee corroborated much of his client’s account. But the owner of the firm denied the charges, insulting Agosto in the process.
“Who would touch her? She’s an ugly girl anyway,” Odelia Berlianshik told The New York Daily News. “She made up a story because she didn’t want to work.”
Agosto’s suit says she worked at the agency from January 2008 until March 2009, finally quitting after an employee slapped her.
Berlianshik admitted the slapping incident, but claimed the worker was instructed to say he was sorry. “He apologized and offered to buy her lunch,” she said.
The suit, which seeks unspecified back pay and benefits, could not be brought until a complaint was first filed with the New York City’s Commission of Human Rights.
