Cats Rule Cat Club organizing ‘Feline Groovy’ show in Racine
Cats Rule Cat Club holds its annual cat show Feline Groovy on Sept. 17 and 18 in Memorial Hall at the Racine Civic Center. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
The show includes pedigree and mixed-breed felines. Attendees can learn the characteristics of various breeds while watching the judging. There will be a contest for the best ’60s-decorated cage and costume.
Second Hand Purrs and Kindred Kitties will have cats and kittens for adoption. Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue will be on hand, as well as vendors selling cat-related products.
Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors (65 plus) and $3 for kids (10 and under). For more information, visit catsrulecatclub.com.
